26th April 2010

Dear Parents,

Over the past 2 years, the children in class 6 have been lucky enough to be involved with projects alongside children from Kingfisher Special School in Chadderton.  All the children have loved the work we have done and, I’m sure, will remember the new friends they made for a long time.

This year we have another opportunity to have some fun with 2 classes of children from Kingfisher School.  The project will begin with the children from Kingfisher visiting us here at Crossgates where we will get to know each other.  This begins later this week and we are all really looking forward to it.

After the half term holiday, our children have been invited to look around the fantastic Kingfisher school before working in the brand new drama studio.  Details of the dates of these visits will follow nearer the time.

This is an exciting opportunity for your children and I’m sure they will tell you all about it.  If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to pop in and have a chat.

Yours faithfully

Mrs. E. McMahon
